Ozzy the Elephant
Ozzy the Elephant was very thirsty,
On one hot an sunny day,
He stomped to the desert water hole,
And drank the water away.
“What did you do that for?”
Ozzy heard the animals cry,
“Without drinking water,
We are all sure to die!”
Then they all stopped and gasped,
They couldn’t believe their eyes,
For as they watched Ozzy,
He grew to an incredible size.
Bigger and bigger Ozzy grew,
He didn’t seem to stop,
All the animals backed away,
Thinking he was soon to pop.
Ozzy the Elephant was so big,
He was now a massive ball,
He put his energy into to moving forwards.
And rolled away from them all.
But Ozzy kept on growing,
He started to float in the air,
Then all of a sudden he popped,
And water spurt from everywhere.
Ozzy would never be greedy again,
All the animals were told,
For now Ozzy’s trunk was flat,
Flat from where he rolled.
